Robust and Accessible

Introduction to Civil Engineering Systems is a very robust, yet accessible introduction into the world of systems engineering. Each chapter is easy to read and interspersed with appropriate thought exercises to help with retention along the way. The practice problems at the end of each chapter are also very good and help with learning the process of thinking in terms of systems, rather than just following a rigid set of steps. I would highly recommend this as both a textbook and as a good reference book.

I took a course that required this book, the book was very helpful it goes through all phases of a Civil Engineering system starting with the need ending with the demolishment of the system, each phase in full detail and provides all the tools needed for each phase with very clear explanation.
I would strongly recommend this book.
